Kayla Samoy is a journalist living in Chicago. She currently works as a deputy senior content editor at the Chicago Tribune, in the arts and entertainment and news departments.

She graduated from the University of Arizona in May of 2015, with a major in Journalism and a minor in Film & TV. Here you can find examples of her journalistic work in print, radio and multimedia.

Kayla has worked on the Shared News Desk at the Associated Press in Chicago, as a Pulliam Fellow and Digital Trends Reporter for The Arizona Republic, and as a NASA Space Grant Intern covering technology commercialization for the business desk at the Arizona Daily Star, among other positions.
